Everything you read about this hotel is true. The staff can not do enough for you. Our luggage was unfortunately lost in transit & the staff immediately got onto the airline & airport to ensure it arrived before we left to Halong bay. The rooms are very well appointed & have everything you should need. Having no luggage we used the razors, comb, toothbrushes etc provided in our room & did not need to buy anything.
The breakfast was one of the best we have had & we really enjoyed our dinner at the hotels Red Bean restaurant. Whilst a little more expensive than other local restaurants we felt the ambiance, service and quality of food was excellent. The location of the hotel could not have been any better- right in the middle of the old quarter. We had rooms looking over the main street but we could not hear any noise & slept well in the comfortable beds.
Our only criticism is that we felt the hotels bar closed too early at 10 pm as we would have enjoyed drinking there a little later. If I ever returned to Hanoi, I would have no hesitation in returning to la Siesta. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.
My four nights stay at La Siesta was wonderful. The location is very convenient to shops, restaurants, spas, and the very beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake. Once you find the rhythm to the chaos in Hanoi, you will fall in love with the energy of this city.
La Siesta was a nice retreat to come "home" to every night. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and well appointed.
The amazing breakfast was a highlight of my stay. Sushi, green salad, pasta salad, dessert, breads, pastries, spring rolls, fried rice, pho soup, ham, cheese, and much more. And, that is only what is on the buffet. You also have a menu to chose from. All you can eat, included with the price of your stay.
The staff is very well trained. They are polite and professional.
